Citaat:
5 of us (including 2 elderly people) are landing in Rome Ciampino at
around 4.30 on Monday week, and need to be in Florence that night. I'm
presuming the quickest/smoothest way to get there would be to take a
taxi directly from the airport to Termini station, then a train onto
Florence.
Can anyone tell me:
* Is it relatively easy to find a large taxi for 5 people at that
airport, and how roughly how much would such a trip cost?
* Since there might be delays to flights, etc, I don't want to book a
particular train journey. Is this advisable, or is there a danger the
train could be booked up on the day? (I've travelled that route before
and the train was relatively empty.)
Any other tips appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
P.
